The Junior League of Dayton has a proud and rich history of not only supporting our community, but also serving as a catalyst for improving the quality of life for many Miami Valley residents either through the volunteer and educational opportunities that we provide to our members, or through the many community programs that our organization supports. This support is provided either through our members' volunteer hours, or through the League's monetary contributions to other nonprofit groups — an effort made possible by our fundraiser activities.

The Junior League of Dayton has a membership of nearly over 350 women in the Greater Dayton Area and serves the community through promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.   Ours is a remarkable story of continuous growth and steadfast commitment to a mission of community service.
